OSHA 3015 - Excavation, Trenching and Soil Mechanics
The OSHA 3015 course was designed to educate participants on all aspects of 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P excavations. It is a 3-day course which covers the OSHA excavation standard and safety and health aspects relating to excavation and trenching. Course topics include soil mechanics, types of shoring, soil classification, and use of protective systems.

CEU Requirements
- 100% attendance for the OSHA 3015 course
- Completion of Continuing Education and Training Registration Form
- Active participation in all class exercises (determined by course instructor)
- Completion of required pre-and post-quiz assessment
- As applicable, achievement of minimum passing score on required end-of-course examination
- Participation and submittal of end-of-course evaluation form (must provide name on form to receive credit)
